The original. The 1006 Navy Chair® was originally created in 1944 for the US Navy as a lightweight, non-corrosive, fire resistant and super strong chair for ships and submarines. Still built by hand from 80% recycled aluminum in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Outdoor approved. Small carbon footprint. Guaranteed for life. Standard glides: soft plastic TPU glides for all-around use, including outdoor use. Alternative glides available at an upcharge.
