Glides for Emeco's Navy family fit the following collections: 1006 Navy, 1104 Navy, 1011 Navy, 1022 Navy, Navy Officer upholstered as well as the following collections by Philippe Starck: Hudson, Heritage, Icon and Kong. Glides are offered in four versions, for different types of use. Ensure you choose the correct size, since the glides differ for Chair/Barstool (30" seat height) and Counter Stool (24" seat height). All glides ship in a set of four, with each glide designed to fit a specific stool leg. Please note that glides are made to fit authentic Emeco aluminum chairs and stools only. Standard glides: TPU plastic is a softer plastic, for allround use, including outdoor.
Hard floor glides: with felt inserts, for indoor use only.
Carpet glides: hard polycarbonate plastic, designed to reduce friction. Also approved for outdoor use.
Original metal glides: round metal glide with a hard plastic cap, original design from 1944. Caps may be replaced and are sold separately. For all-round use, including outdoor. Especially suited for carpeted floors, to reduce friction.
